Lawrence (Larry) McGuire, 76, of Downers Grove, IL passed away peacefully in the company of his family on October 22, 2012.

He was the loving Papa of Gwendolyn - 8, Chloe- 6 and Colin- 4. Larry was a dedicated Quality Control Manager for Scholle Corporation in Northlake, IL for 28 years. A strong, independent, soft spoken and wise man Larry lived very modestly while bestowing everything to his family. In his retirement, Larry enjoyed traveling to visit his grandchildren, photography, trips to the botanical gardens, long drives, watching golf and computer games. We will deeply miss Papa's hugs and wisdom. Aletha J. O’Dea, known as Molly, born April 16, 1940 on “Humpback
Mountain” in West Virginia, passed in death on September 3, 2013 into the
loving presence of her husband who had went on to save a place for her in
2011. As she passed, she smiled, as if overjoyed from the reunion. It is a
comfort to know she didn’t suffer; however, her absence is an overwhelming
sorrow to those who loved her.
Molly was a resident of Northlake, IL for twenty-eight years. A fierce hardworker, she spent most of her years in the Chicagoland area working for ITT McDonnell & Miller. An avid adventurer, Molly loved to travel and sightsee, having road tripped to or through the majority of states in the continental United States. Molly found much delight in feeding people; thus while her children were growing up, her home was the place the neighborhood kids and friends wanted to be. Molly’s devotion and adoration for her husband, children, and grandchildren will forever be a light in their lives. Also an artist, Molly wrote, crafted, painted, and made jewelry. Molly will forever be remembered for her generosity, story-telling, laughter, work ethic, integrity, determination, strength, spunk, and love.

Joan (daughter) and Marty of Wheaton, IL, Michael (son) and Kim of La
Grange, IL, and Mary (daughter) and David of Evergreen, CO; grandchildren:
